Dear brothers and sisters:

Thank you all for waiting! We sent out the newsletter a bit of late this week, hope you all didn’t think fellowship was cancelled~

Recently there have been many thunderstorms in China, which have not only disrupted the transportation within cities; these storms have caused many casualties. We know that all of us have families and friends back in China, and we sincerely hope that regardless of which city they are in, they all will be safe. Here in Canada, we will be praying for everyone, and praying that God may keep our family and friends, as well as watch over our nation.

This week we will be having a group discussion on the topic of “love”. This love is not only directed towards our families and friends, it is directed towards our rivals and enemies. In the last section of Matthew Chapter 5, Jesus teaches us how to treat those who have wronged us in the past. Jesus had said “be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). What did He mean? How do we love our enemies? This Friday, we will be having a group discussion around this section of the Scripture, and as always, we welcome you to join us! See you then!
